Talent Technofest a Blast! (7 Apr 2011)

The inaugural HCIS Talent innofest held on 10th March had more than fulfillled its theme of "Innovation" and "Creativity". Whether it was the 'Open category', 'Dance category' or 'Faculties Category', all the participants had outdone themselves by demonstrating their immense talents as actors, singers, dancers or even future inventors.

One after another, the competitors strutted their stuff onstage and put on their best performance that wowed not just the judges but also a captive audience glued to their seats with anticipation and excitement.

After a gruelling competition, the team from Sec 4 Resilience who called themselves the 'Cute Fats' took home the top honour under the Open Category while Sec 4 Integrity's 'Mr. Mario' was crowned the champion under the Dance Category.

As one of the competitors, the highlight for me was the anxious wait behind the curtain for the results to be announced. Needless to say, we were euphoric when we were named the champion for the Dance Category. All our hardwork had paid off and we were both elated and relieved that the wait was over.

The Talent Innofest was one of the many exciting platforms that HCIS organises every year to enable students to express their potential talents and in the process, learning how to lead, be independent and resourceful.

The teachers, competitors, students and even the judges had put in a lot of themselves to make sure this inaugural event was a total success.  Thanks everyone for the great memories!
